Minnesota State University, Mankato Media Relations Office News Release [4/6/10]

Minnesota State Mankato’s Graduate Research Conference, intended to let graduate students showcase their work, will be Monday and Tuesday, April 12 and 13.

The conference, open to students, faculty, staff and the public, will be from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday and 9-11:15 a.m. Tuesday in second-floor meeting rooms of Centennial Student Union.

The second annual graduate conference is similar in format and structure to the highly successful Undergraduate Research Conference (this year April 5 and 6). In addition to showcasing new research, the Graduate Research Conference lets students enhance their presentation skills as they prepare for careers or admission to higher-level graduate programs.

Participants will make oral or poster presentations, and will perform or demonstrate their creative work. This year’s conference will include 70 oral and poster presentations and three performances.

A schedule of presentations and more information is available on the Graduate Studies & Research page or by contacting the College of Graduate Studies & Research at 507-389-2321.
