In 2003 he was promoted to the company’s Minnesota Business Center and named a managing director, and in 2009 was promoted to regional managing director. He is the youngest person to ever serve in such a position throughout the company.

Hoffman has consistently been honored for sales growth, recruiting and retention. He is a six-time Management Achievement Round Table qualifier and has received several General Agency Management Association Career Development Awards and a 2010 Master Agency Award.

He serves on the board of the Minneapolis branch of the National Association of Insurance and Finance Advisors and is a member and past president of the General Agency Management Association of Minnesota. Recently he was recognized by Finance and Commerce as a 2010 “Minnesotan on the Move.”
