An “Introduction to Voting” workshop that will explain how to register, how to vote, the importance of civic engagement and ways to get involved in the election process will be presented Tuesday, Oct. 12.
The workshop, presented by the Minnesota Secretary of State Office and the university’s Library Services, will be from 3 to 4:00 p.m. in Room 45 of Memorial Library.
The free event is designed for students and others who are preparing for their first voting experience, but it also is open to faculty, staff and the public.
