“Green Musician” Michael Monroe will perform his Emmy winning instrumental music Thursday, Oct. 14, during a Performance Series concert at Minnesota State Mankato.
The Music Department event, open to students, faculty, staff and the public, will be at 7:30 p.m. in Halling Recital Hall of the Performing Arts Center.
Monroe’s music can be heard on PBS and Canadian Public TV in showings of the award-winning National Geographic documentary “Chased by the Light.”
In addition to the concert, Monroe will discuss his work with Minnesota State Mankato Music Industry students in workshops Wednesday and Thursday.
Tickets are $11 for Minnesota State Mankato students with valid MavCard and $12 for general admission.
