Campus gubernatorial debate can be viewed on YouTube

A video of the Oct. 26 major-party gubernatorial debate at Minnesota State Mankato is available on YouTube.

With a week to go before the election polls open, major-party gubernatorial candidates Mark Dayton (DFL), Tom Emmer (R) and Tom Horner (IP) debated at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

The Oct. 26 public event, in Bresnan Arena of Taylor Center, was hosted by Debate Minnesota and the Minnesota State Student Association. Student Association President Tom Williams intropduced the event, and Mankato Free Press Editor Joe Spear and St. Paul Pioneer Press political reporter Bill Salisbury moderated.

Debate Minnesota is a non-profit, nonpartisan organization which attempts to provide candidates with a public platform where their ideas can be challenged and exchanged in a fair, honest discussion. More information about the organization is at http://www.debateminnesota.com/.
