Study abroad fair to be hosted Feb. 15 by Kearney International Center

Representatives from Minnesota State Mankato’s six colleges, departments and more than 15 organizations will showcase foreign-study programs at the university’s annual Study Abroad Fair Tuesday, Feb. 15.

Representatives from Minnesota State Mankato’s six colleges, departments and more than 15 organizations will showcase foreign-study programs at the university’s annual Study Abroad Fair Tuesday, Feb. 15.

The fair, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Centennial Student Union, will highlight a wide variety of international study opportunities available to students – both short-term and semester-long. The event is open to the public as well as students, faculty and stuff.

Short-term opportunities include study in the Netherlands, Italy, Ghana, South Africa and other countries. Spanish-language students can study in Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica and Ecuador. French students may study in France, and business exchanges are available in Austria, France, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Scotland, Sweden and Norway.

After the fair, the university’s Kearney International Center will host a panel on summer internships abroad at 2:15 p.m. in CSU 201. Study abroad providers and Career Development Center representatives will discuss internships abroad, and campus resources that are available.

Minnesota State Mankato, a comprehensive, doctoral university with 15,393 students, is part of the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities system.
