37 senior artists to exhibit works through April 18

Thirty-seven Minnesota State Mankato senior artists will exhibit their works in three showings between now and April 18.

Thirty-seven Minnesota State Mankato senior artists will exhibit their works in three showings between now and April 18.

The senior exhibits, sponsored by the Department of Art, will be in Conkling Gallery, 139 Nelson Hall, open Monday through Friday from 9-4 p.m. Exhibits are free and open to students, faculty, staff and the public.

The first group of seniors, exhibiting from March 24-31, includes Lauren Barfels, Michael Cullen-Benson, Jessica Crane, Alexandra Franzen, Krista Heinitz, Colin Klimesh, Carmela LaBare, Jennessa Moeller, Katherine Meyer, Megan Platt, Kassandra Throldahl and Kirsten Wulff. A free, public reception for the artists will be Monday, March 28, at 7 p.m.

The second group will present its work April 5-12 and includes Rosalie Beyer Krohn, Matthew Darnhold, Oluwabusola Duroshola, Chad Freund, Andrea Harrell, Allison Henlikne, Wesley Hill, Jerilyn Knutson, Timothy Malz, Dana Mostad, Ashley Puckett, Shane Warren and Cameron Winkels. A reception is Tuesday, April 5, at 7 p.m.

The third group will exhibit works from April 15-22, including Rachel Compart, Wendy Doherty, Charles Duda, Mark Edens, Lisa Friedrich, Kristin Harsma, Margaret Ireland, Rojeena Kayastha, Jessika Knutson, Elyse McKeown, Nguyet Nguyen and Benjamin Sweeney. The reception for those seniors is Monday, April 18, at 7 p.m.
