Undergraduate research conference is April 4,5
Student research projects are focus of April 4, 5 campus conference.

Student research projects will be presented and discussed at Minnesota State Mankato’s 11th annual Undergraduate Research Conference Monday and Tuesday, April 4-5.
Visitors can view student projects such as “Artistic Pyrotechnics” and “Lie Detection: the Role Likeability Plays on the Liar and Truth Teller.” The conference, free and open to students, faculty, staff and the public, will be in Centennial Student Union. Monday’s event will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Tuesday’s from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Awards will be presented Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Ostrander Auditorium.
The conference showcases creative and scholarly research of Minnesota State Mankato undergraduates. Students will present their research in various formats, including oral presentations, poster sessions, performances and art displays.
The event is sponsored by the university’s Research & Sponsored Programs Office in the College of Graduate Studies & Research.
