Enrollment growth may be the thing that keeps Minnesota State Mankato and South Central College from feeling the full sting from what looks to be a 13-year low for higher education.
Bills making their way through the Legislature call for dramatic cuts to higher education. The University of Minnesota system could see a 19 percent cut, while the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system is looking at about a 13 percent cut.
