Lauren Stelten became the third Minnesota State Mankato women's pole vaulter to win an NCAA Division II national championship after her victory earlier this month.
Stelten vaulted a national best 13' 6 1/2". The Cologne, Minn., native is a four-time All-American in the indoor pole vault, having finished second in 2008, sixth in 2009 and second in 2010.
She joins two-time indoor champion Amanda Frame and three-time indoor and one-time outdoor champion Katelin Rains on the list of Maverick women who've won the pole-vault championship.
