Lauren Stelten: Third Maverick woman to win NCAA pole vault nationals.

Lauren Stelten became the third Minnesota State Mankato women's pole vaulter to win an NCAA Division II national championship after her victory earlier this month.
Stelten vaulted a national best 13' 6 1/2". The Cologne, Minn., native is a four-time All-American in the indoor pole vault, having finished second in 2008, sixth in 2009 and second in 2010.
She joins two-time indoor champion Amanda Frame and three-time indoor and one-time outdoor champion Katelin Rains on the list of Maverick women who've won the pole-vault championship.
Also competing for the Mavericks in the national meet were:
- Freshman Keyvan Rudd, who made his first trip to nationals and jumped 6' 5" in the high jump, earning 12th.
- Freshman Christopher Reed, competing in the shot put.
- Junior Dan Novak, competing in the pole vault.
