Todd Kelzenberg, Minneapolis, received the 2011 Distinguished Young Alumni Award from Minnesota State University, Mankato last week.

Kelzenberg, vice president of business development at AdvisorNet Financial, is one of nine alumni who are 2011 award winners. He was honored at an April 29 dinner and ceremony hosted by the Minnesota State Mankato Alumni Association.

Distinguished Young Alumni Awards go to graduates 35 years old or younger who have reached professional achievements early in their careers, and have positively impacted their communities.

Kelzenberg played hockey at Minnesota State Mankato under coaches Don Brose and Troy Jutting, graduating in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in finance and the coursework necessary to become a Certified Financial Planner.

After graduation he joined Ameriprise, quickly moving from advisor to district manager to field vice president. He then joined AdvisorNet Financial, where he was named vice president for business development.
