Stomper’s Cinema movies at Minnesota State Mankato are open to the general public this fall, at a cost of $1.
The recent-release movies, shown Wednesday through Saturday in Ostrander Auditorium of Centennial Student Union, are presented by IMPACT, the student union programming board. Until this year they’ve been open to students only.
Movies scheduled through Sept. 17 include “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” (Aug. 24-27); “Hangover 2” (Sept. 7-10); and “Cars 2” (Sept. 14-17).
Members of the public may attend the movies for $1. Showings are Wednesday and Thursday at 7 and 9:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.
