Introducing the Job Search Prep Series! Join the CDC and local employers on exploring the in's and out's of job and internship searching! Employers will be answering the tough questions about your job and internship search you will not get answered anywhere else!
Day 1: Discover the Answers: Ask an Employer Anything
March 22, 2012 11:30am-1:30pm in CSU 284 A, B, C
From 11:30-12:15pm There will be an informal session where students will have the option to ask local employers about the job and internship search. Employers will also share their knowledge and tips about their own job and internship search.
From 12:15pm-1:30pm students will have the opportunity to eat, mix, mingle, network with the local employers.
Day 2: Navigate the Job Search
April 5, 2012 11:30am-1:30pm in CSU 284 A, B, C
Students will rotate through four 20 minute sessions with local employers. The four sessions will take students through the stages of a job and internship search: self-assessment, finding a job or internship, applying for a job or internship, and interviewing. Gain tip and suggestions from local employers at each station for each stage of the process.
These events are open to all students who want to learn from local employers about the job and internship search.
*Causal dress, no required dress code
*Lunch will be provided
*Limited number of seats available
Registration for the event begins February 1 and 1 week before each event. To register, click on the events tab in Mavjobs. Then click on the Career Fairs tab. Select Discover the Answers: Ask an Employer Anything or Navigate the Job Search and click Submit on the bottom of the page. Registration for the events is separate.
