Women's Center to host Clothing Donation April 9-13, Clothing Swap April 19

As part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Goodbye Week, the Women's Center will host a Clothing Donation Collection April 9-13, followed by a Clothing Swap from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 19 in CSU 123.

As part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Goodbye Week, the Women's Center will host a Clothing Donation Collection April 9-13, followed by a Clothing Swap from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 19 in CSU 123.

Prior to the actual swap, a Clothing Donation Collection will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, April 9 through Friday, April 13. Clothing (in wearable condition) may be brought to the Women's Center, CSU 218 during these times. All donators will then receive a ticket showing how many items he/she donated. The ticket should then be brought to the Clothing Swap on April 19.

At the Clothing Swap April 19, participants will swap clothes and pay $1 for any additional items (other than the number listed on the ticket).

All remaining clothes will be donated to CADA and the Theresa House. The CADA is in specific need of swimsuits. The Theresa House is in need of teenager and young adult clothing.

The event is open to the public. Reporters and photographers are welcome to attend.
