Two recitals by university music students to be presented April 20 and 21

The Minnesota State University, Mankato Department of Music will present two recitals by university music students April 20 and 21.

The Minnesota State University, Mankato Department of Music will present two recitals by university music students April 20 and 21. These recitals will be presented in the Elias J. Halling Recital Hall, Earley Center for Performing Arts.

Both recitals are free and open to the public.

Soprano Rachel Sheldahl will perform her senior vocal recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 20. Sheldahl will perform a wide variety of vocal pieces including works of George Frederic Handel, Dominick Argento, Giacomo Puccini, and Georges Bizet.

Rachel Sheldahl is a student of Dr. Kimm Julian. Her recital is in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Bachelor of Music Education degree.

Pianist Kacie Hyejin Lee will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 21. Lee's senior recital program will feature works of Ludwig van Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Claude Debussy.

Kacie Lee is a student of Dr. David Viscoli. Her recital is presented in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance.
