Music recitals to be performed by graduate music students April 28

The Minnesota State University, Mankato Department of Music will present two recitals by university graduate music students April 28, during the final week of the Spring 2012 semester.

The Minnesota State University, Mankato Department of Music will present two recitals by university graduate music students April 28, during the final week of the Spring 2012 semester.

These recitals will be presented in the Elias J. Halling Recital Hall, Earley Center for Performing Arts.

Pianist Amy Chin will perform her graduate recital at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 28. Chin will perform a wide variety of piano repertoire including works of Bach, Beethoven, Schubert and Prokofiev.

Amy Chin is a student of Dr. David Viscoli. Her recital is in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Master of Music in Piano Performance degree.

Pianist Youna Choi will perform her graduate recital at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 28. Choi's graduate recital program will feature works of Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninoff and Prokofiev.

Youna Choir is a student of Dr. David Viscoli. Her recital is in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Master of Music in Piano Performance degree.

Both recitals are free and open to the public.
