Sept. 26: Big Ideas Speakers Series presents Matt Ames
Entrepreneur created thriving paintball business.

Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato’s College of Business is presenting Matt Ames, founder and owner of MN Pro Paintball, for the next installment of the Big Ideas Speaker Series on Wednesday, Sept. 26. The presentation will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Ostrander Auditorium in the Centennial Student Union.
The Big Ideas Speaker Series brings business people with transformative and alternative ideas to campus to inspire the Big Ideas of people within our own community.
Ames will share how he took a passion for paintball and turned it into a thriving business. He currently owns one of the largest paintball parks in the state in Lakeville Minn., as well as two retail stores in Burnsville and Minnetonka. In April, the U.S. Small Business Administration named Ames the Minnesota Young Entrepreneur of the Year for 2012.
