Mankato, Minn. – Traditional Arabian food and dances, music, trivia, prizes and skits will be featured at Middle Eastern Night on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Centennial Student Union Ballroom.
During the evening, guests will have the opportunity to have their name printed in Arabic calligraphy and also try henna (generally a dye or color used for cosmetic purposes), try traditional Middle Eastern clothes and explore Middle Eastern heritage and performances.
The general public is invited. Cost is $7 for Minnesota State Mankato students, $9 for non-Minnesota State Mankato students and $9 at the door (if available). Tickets are on sale now and sold every day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Centennial Student Union’s Mav Ave.
