April 28: 'Zombie Run' for Hunger
Event benefits Campus Kitchen Project.

Mankato, Minn. – The Gamma Phi Beta sorority at Minnesota State University, Mankato will host its first Zombie Run to "chase away the fear of hunger" on Sunday, April 28 from 3 to 6 p.m., with registration beginning at 2:30 p.m. (The event was originally scheduled for Friday, April 19, but was rescheduled to April 28 because of snow.)
All proceeds benefit the Campus Kitchen Project. This event is open to the public and is $15 per team member or $13 with a donation of food. Participants will receive a t-shirt, complimentary refreshments and have a chance to win prizes. Those interested are encouraged to pre-register their team of four players by April 9 to guarantee the right t-shirt size. Registration begins at 2:30 p.m. April 28 and the run will start in the Campus Mall. Teams of four will have the choice to be zombies or survivors, and will be signed up for a time to leave the start line.
The Campus Kitchen Project is a non-profit organization providing those in food-insecure households well-balanced meals.
