Video of Gage Demolition Now Online

Official University video of the June 29 implosion has been set to music.

Mankato, Minn. -- Minnesota State University, Mankato's Office of Alumni Relations announced Thursday, July 11 in the Alumni Reporter newsletter that official University video of the June 29 Gage Residence Community implosion has been posted online on the Gage website.

To view the 10-minute, 13-second video, which was set to music, go the Gage website and click the "Watch Now" button, or click here.

Thank you to the over 6,000 people who came out to celebrate memories the morning of the implosion. It took only 12.2 seconds for the two buildings to come to the ground.

Photos and videos from the day of the implosion can be seen on our Gage website. Also on that site is the full list of submitted stories and submitted photos from alumni through the years.
