Dr. Bradley Arsznov has recently had one of his studies featured in Science Daily.
His study, The Procyonid Social Club: Comparison of Brain Volumes in the Coatimundi (Nasua nasua, N. narica), Kinkajou (Potos flavus) and Raccoon (Procyon lotor), which was published this year in Brain, Behavior and Evolution, suggests that the brain structure responsible for social behavior in humans and primates may play a similar role in carnivores.
Dr. Arsznove completed this study with his colleague Dr. Sharleen Sakai at Michigan State University prior to joining the faculty at MNSU.
