Mankato, Minn. – The Campaign for the Minnesota Health Plan is holding a free public conference, “MNSure and Beyond: the Minnesota Health Plan,” from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3 in Ostrander Auditorium in Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Centennial Student Union.

Event schedule:

  • 1:30 p.m. - 2 p.m., Ostrander Auditorium
    Welcome and on-site registration
     
  • 2 p.m., Ostrander Auditorium
    “Overview of MNSure, Minnesota’s New Health Insurance Exchange”
    (Presented by Paul Sobocinski and Megan Buckingham, Land Stewardship Project)
     
  • 2:45 p.m., Ostrander Auditorium
    “Next Steps for Health Care Reform and the Minnesota Health Plan”
    (Presented by Chuck Sawyer, board member, Health Care for all MN)
     
  • 3:50 p.m., Ostrander Auditorium
    Participants choose one of six group discussions (full list available at www.mnhp.eventbrite.com)

Speakers will be available to answer questions.

Parking (free on Sundays on campus) is available in Visitor Lot 4, immediately south of the Centennial Student Union, on South Road. The cafeteria in the student union will be open during the event. Pre-registration information is available at www.mnhp.eventbrite.com.
