Feb. 5: Psychologist Umar Johnson
Presentation is titled "Hidden Colors of Melanin."

Mankato, Minn. -- Certified psychologist Umar Johnson will give a presentation titled "Hidden Colors of Melanin" at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5 in Minnesota State University, Mankato's Ostrander Auditorium.
Johnson's presentation is free and open to the public.
Johnson, a blood relative of Frederick Douglass, the great Black abolitionist and orator, is considered a national expert on learning disabilities and their effects on black youth. A national lecturer, he is also an expert on helping adults modify challenging behaviors that can ultimately lead to disruptive disorder diagnoses in young black men.
