Mankato, Minn. – Designer and illustrator Phil Jones will give a public lecture on Monday, March 3 and hold a studio residency on Monday and Tuesday, March 3-4 at Minnesota State University, Mankato through the university’s Nadine B. Andreas Endowment for Artists and Scholars.

Jones will deliver a lecture that is free and open to the public at 7 p.m. Monday, March 3 in the Minnesota State Mankato Centennial Student Union’s Ostrander Auditorium. He will also hold a studio residency from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Monday and Tuesday in the Nelson Hall Graphic Design Labs on campus.

Jones recently became an art director at mono, a company in Minneapolis. The company’s website is at www.mono-1.com. He previously worked as an art director for two years at Carmichael Lynch.
Through his employers or through free-lance work, Jones has worked with clients such as Subaru, Apple, Hershey’s, GAP, Target and Disney.
