This Black Soil Showing on Monday, May 5

An inspiring documentary about how community...makes a difference!

The Affordable Housing Collaborative invites you join us for an inspiring evening of film, story-sharing and conversation!

Join us and Theresa Konechne, Filmmaker, as we view "This Black Soil” .  This film tells the story of a rural low-income African-American community on Virginia's Eastern Shore. When plans for a maximum security prison threatened their community, the neighbors had to act. How they came together and what they did is a journey of transformation and discovery which will inspire you!

The viewing will take place at Elevate Church, 191 Victory Drive, Mankato MN from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.  For more information, check it out on or call Anika Cristwell at 507-257-2243.
