Consolidated Communications Community Fund Makes $15,000 Donation to University

Gift designated for scholarships and to support fall theatre production.

Mankato, Minn. – Representatives from the Consolidated Communications Community Fund presented Minnesota State University, Mankato with a $15,000 donation on Friday, June 23.

The generous gift from Consolidated Communications included $5,000 designated for scholarships benefitting students in the College of Education’s Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program, $5,000 for College of Business scholarships and another $5,000 to support the Minnesota State Mankato Department of Theatre & Dance’s fall mainstage musical, “The Full Monty.”

Jennifer Spaude, senior director of corporate communications, and Lynn Schultz, director of accounting, both of Consolidated Communications, presented Minnesota State Mankato representatives with the donation at the company’s downtown Mankato office.
