Student Events Team Hosting Stunt Show, 'Inflatable' 5k
The Danger Committee will perform a stunt show Sept. 22. The "inflatable" 5k will be held Sept. 30.

Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Student Events Team announced two upcoming on-campus events that are open to the local community.
Sept. 22 – Performance by the Danger Committee:
On Friday, Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. in Myers Field House, the public is invited to attend a performance by the Danger Committee, a Twin Cities stunt group. Admission is free to all.
The Danger Committee’s show features a combination of juggling, knife throwing and other dangerous acts. The Danger Committee has performed worldwide and appeared on national television. This will be the Danger Committee’s first performance at Minnesota State Mankato.

Sept. 30 – Inflatable 5k Run/Walk:
On Saturday, Sept. 30 at 3 p.m. at Blakeslee Stadium, the public is invited to join Minnesota State Mankato students in participating in a 5k run/walk featuring inflatable slides, climbing walls and other obstacles.
Participants can choose to either run around the inflatables or complete the obstacle, intended to be a fun way to break up running and walking while adding an element of excitement to the race. The event will also include a free photo booth, climbing wall and other activities.
Cost of the event for the public is $25 for an individual entry and $10 for Minnesota State Mankato students who present a MavCard. Family ticket packages are also available. Call 507-389-6076 for pricing.
Online registration is available at mnsuevents.com. In-person registration is available at the Student Activities front desk, located in Centennial Student Union 173 on the Minnesota State Mankato campus; or at Bounce Town, located next to the River Hills Mall.
