Oct. 16-31: 'Elements' Sculpture Exhibit on Display in Conkling Gallery

Master of arts in sculpture exhibit features art by graduate student Stephen Geffre.

Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato graduate student Stephen Geffre’s master of arts in sculpture exhibit, “Elements,” will be on display in Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Conkling Gallery (located in Nelson Hall 139) from Monday, Oct. 16 through Oct. 31.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday as coverage permits. Please call 507-389-6412 to ensure the gallery is open.

An opening reception is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 16 from 7-8 p.m. in Conkling Gallery.

A Minnesota State Mankato Department of Art preview of the exhibit described Geffre’s work as “a combination of stone, steel, water and wood examining the crossroads of humanity and the natural world.”
