Marching Band to Perform in Hawaii on New Year's Eve

The Maverick Machine Marching Band will give two performances at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii.

Mankato, Minn. – Thirty members of Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Maverick Machine Marching Band will be performing Sunday, Dec. 31 at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii.

The band will perform for about 20 minutes at 9 a.m. (Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time) Dec. 31 at the Pearl Harbor Museum & Visitor Center. After that performance, the band will lay a wreath on the USS Arizona Memorial.

Then at approximately 1 p.m. (HST), the band will give a 20-minute performance on the USS Battleship Missouri Memorial.

Band members will depart Minnesota on Thursday, Dec. 28 and return Wednesday, Jan. 3.
