Classes Cancelled Monday, Jan. 22, Library Closing at 4:30 p.m.

University is open Monday, but Memorial Library will close at 4:30 p.m., and Children's House is closed.

UPDATE (12:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22) -- The City of Mankato announced at 12:41 p.m. that service on all city bus routes will be cancelled at 1:35 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22 due to inclement weather.

UPDATE (11:40 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22) -- Minnesota State University, Mankato's Memorial Library will close at 4:30 p.m. today for the remainder of the day and evening as a result of the winter storm. The library is scheduled to reopen during normal business hours Tuesday, Jan. 23.

Mankato, Minn. -- Minnesota State University, Mankato has cancelled all day and evening classes on its Mankato campus Monday, Jan. 22 as a result of weather conditions. (NOTE: Minnesota State Mankato's Edina location has also cancelled all classes on Monday, Jan. 22.)

Minnesota State Mankato's Children's House will also be closed, and no child care will be available Monday, Jan. 22.

The rest of the University will be open Monday, and all employees should report to work in both Mankato and Edina.

If employees are unable to make it to work for weather-related reasons, they should contact their supervisors.

Bus routes
All the following Minnesota State University, Mankato bus routes will be cancelled at 11 a.m. today: 1A North, 1A South, 1B North, 1B South, Campus Express, Stomper Express, 8 and 12. Service is expected to run as scheduled tomorrow, weather permitting.

Three Mankato hills closed
For safety--Parkway, Monks and Stadium hills have been closed, and are expected to reopen after the snowstorm. View an alternate route.
