Oct. 6: 'Recharge Mankato' Event to Explore Sustainable, Renewable Energy Solutions

Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato’s College of Science, Engineering and Technology invites the campus community and general public to attend an Oct. 6 “Recharge Mankato” event, at which attendees will be able to explore sustainable and renewable energy solutions and have the opportunity to learn more about Minnesota State Mankato program offerings and research.

The event, free and open to the public, is Saturday, Oct. 6 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in Minnesota State Mankato’s Parking Lot 21, located along Stadium Road.

Attendees will be able to experience driving an electric vehicle – compliments of auto dealers from across Greater Mankato. Several Tesla models will be part of the event, along with other makes and models, including the Toyota Prius, BMW models and the Chevrolet Volt and Bolt.
