- New Transfer Student Checklist
Review and complete any needed steps on the New Transfer Student Checklist.
- Photo identification
Photo ID is needed to check-in to Orientation and a goverment issued photo ID is needed to get your MavCARD (University ID card).
- Know your StarID and StarID password
You will need your StarID and StarID password to register for classes at orientation. If you forgot your StarID or StarID password go to StarID Self Service to look up your information. If you have not activated your StarID, go to Register for Orientation page and review the "Know Star ID" instructions.
- Degree Audit Report (DARs) and unofficial/official transcripts of any college level course work you have completed
This will help academic advisors to better serve you in the advising and registration labs.
- Course descriptions
Bring course descriptions of courses taken previously at other institutions if you need to make course equivalencies.
- License plate number
If you are planning on purchasing a parking permit, you will need to have your license plate number.
Important Information for Military Veterans
- If you are a military veteran please bring a DD214 form (certificate of release or discharge from active duty). This form is needed to request military benefits. If you do not have the form, one can be requested at http://www.archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records/get-service-records.html.
