About Us

Dan Sachau, Ph.D.
I/O Program Director
Dr. Sachau has a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Utah. Before coming to MSU, Dan worked with Frederick Herzberg and Associates and was an instructor in the College of Business at the University of Utah. Dan is now the Program Director for MSU’s Industrial/Organizational Psychology Graduate Program and the Past President of Minnesota Professionals for Psychology in the Workplace. Dan’s consulting interests include job satisfaction, employee motivation, and organization development.

Lisa Perez, Ph.D.
Dr. Perez received her Ph.D. at Bowling Green State University. Prior to joining the Faculty at Minnesota State University, Lisa was a Fellow of the National Research Council at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. Lisa’s expertise is in employee health and well-being, work-life balance, stress management, benchmarking and employee opinion surveys.

Kim O'Farrell, Ph.D.
Dr. O’Farrell received a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Tulane University. Prior to moving to Mankato, Kim worked for Bank of America in San Francisco and Tulane University’s Lagniappe Program. Kim is an expert on program evaluation, feedback, persuasion, and interpersonal relationships in the organization. Kim is also regular panelist on Mental Engineering a nationally distributed television show about marketing techniques.

Andi Lassiter, Ph.D.
Dr. Lassiter received her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at George Mason University. Before moving to Mankato, Andi worked for the Army Research Institute, the United States Air Force, and Broward County School District. Andi's consulting interests include leadership development, team leaderships, competency modeling, performance appraisal, employee selection, and training.
