Page address: https://web.mnsu.edu/office365/applications.htmlTo access the applications available through Office 365, log into your MavMail account and click on the icon in the top left corner. Available applications include:
- Microsoft Office Online – Light versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote are accessible with an Internet connection. Users can collaborate simultaneously with others with Office 365, and share documents instantly via email or Yammer.
- OneDrive – Serving as an online storage service for documents, pictures, videos, and more, OneDrive offers 1TB of storage to all users. At this time, OneDrive will not replace MavDISK or any other storage service offered by ITS.
- Office 365 ProPlus – Users can download Office 365 ProPlus on their desktop and mobile devices, which includes Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, and more for free up to five times. Windows users will download Office 2013, and Mac OS users will download Office 2016; these are full-fledged versions of the Office suite that expire once the user leaves the University. This does not include the base Windows operating system.
Downloading Office 365 ProPlus
Students can download full-fledged versions of Microsoft Office on their desktop up to five times on Windows 7/8 and Mac OS, and Office mobile apps up to five times on iOS and Android. These applications are available until the student leaves the University and require verification every 30 days. After the student leaves, the software will be available for a short amount before the software license expires. Once the software license expires, students can still view their Microsoft Office files.
