Silver Motorcycle / Moped / Scooter / Mini-Bikes Permits -
$40 for the academic year or $20 with puchase of another MSU permit.
Motorcycles and their smaller cousins, scooters and mopeds, are required to purchase a $40 Silver Permit ($20 with a regular vehicle permit). Effective August 25, 2008, scooters are to park alongside motorcycles in expanded motorcycle parking zones around campus. (During the winter weather season parking lots stalls set aside for motorcycles and scooters, which are also protected by special grey plastic bumpers attached to the asphalt, are eliminated and converted to regular parking stalls to facilitate plowing of snow and to allow vehicles additional parking.) For Spring Semester the $40 Academic Year permit price for a motorcycle/scooter parking permit is cut in half.
