There are currently no gold permits available. Gold Permits may become available after the Fall 2009 vacancy study has been completed. Please check back to see what may become available.
Purple and Orange permit holders are eligible to purchase a $20 Spring Semester Nighttime Gold permit which allows them to park in any Gold permit stall from 4 PM on class days Monday-Thursday. The Nighttime Gold permit holder must hang both the Nighttime Gold permit and their regular permit on their rearview mirror. Nighttime Gold permits are available at the Campus Hub and the University Cashiers. Regular Gold permit holders don't need to purchase a "Nighttime Gold" as their Gold permit privileges extend throughout the day. All non-residence hall permit holders need to vacate MSU parking areas from 2 AM-6 AM.
2008-09 Gold Permit Drawing Winners List
Those who filed their Gold Drawing Application before the April 16th midnight deadline - if they paid $236 "up-front" - are eligible for prizes including: $100 from MM Vending (two $50 cash gifts from MSU's beverage vending machine provider); two $50 Gift Cards from Barnes & Noble; and $200 worth of MavCash allotments (10 at $20 each). An "initial payment option" existed prior to the deadline where the applicant could pay just $134 - those who elected to use this option were not eligible for prizes set aside as an incentive to those who choose to pay the full $236 permit value "up front."
