Communiqué #10 to the Campus Community

The eighth and final meeting of the Presidential Search Committee was held on February 8, 2002. During this meeting, committee members discussed the campus visits of the four semi-finalists in the presidential search process and feedback from public meetings with the candidates. The committee concluded that the names of three finalists should be forwarded to the Chancellor for further consideration.

The Search Committee has forwarded the following names to the Chancellor: Richard Davenport, David Eisler, and Perry Moore. (For further information about the finalists, please see the Press Release of January 23, 2002 on the Presidential Search website.) The three finalists will be interviewed this week in St. Paul. Each candidate will meet with the Chancellor, members of his senior staff, and representatives of the Board of Trustees.
