Communiqué #7 to the Campus Community
from President Wilson G. Bradshaw, Search Committee Chair
The fifth meeting of the Presidential Search Committee, which
had been postponed on Tuesday, November 27, 2001 due to poor weather,
was held on Tuesday, December 4. During this meeting, the Search
Committee continued and completed the initial screening of applications
and nominations. The committee identified a pool of 12-15 leading
candidates.
Between December 4th and the next meeting of the committee, December
17th, committee members will contact these candidates' references.
At the December 17th meeting, the committee will review information
gathered from references and will identify those candidates to be
invited to neutral-site interviews in January, 2002.
"Communiqué #8" will follow the meeting of December 17, 2001.
