Communiqué #8 to the Campus Community
from President Wilson G. Bradshaw, Search Committee Chair
The sixth meeting of the Presidential Search Committee was held
on Monday, December 17. During this meeting, Search Committee
members discussed the information provided by references about
13 candidates selected on December 4 for further review. Following
discussion, the committee planned to invite 8-10 candidates
to interview with the committee at a neutral site.
The neutral-site interviews will be held January 18-19, 2002.
Following these interviews, the committee will select 3-4
candidates to invite to on-campus interviews in early February.
The names of candidates invited to campus will be made public
prior to their visits.
“Communiqué #9” will follow the meeting
of January 19.
