| Program Description | Students in this program study a broad base of content and pedagogical knowledge to become skilled teachers in elementary classrooms. They engage in clinical field experiences in area schools at each stage of their education courses, culminating in a student teaching experience. This process allows them to apply for a Minnesota teaching license in grades K-6. A collaborative program between Minnesota State University, Mankato (MSU) and Normandale Community College offers K-6 preparation. |
| Admission Requirements |
The department will recommend for admission only those applicants who submit a complete application packet. Application deadline must be adhered to for consideration for the upcoming semester's coursework enrollment. Prior to the upcoming semester's registration, the Academic Advising Office will send an email notifying the applicant of his/her admission status. |
