| Program Description | Since 1953, Minnesota State University School of Nursing has offered a basic program leading to a bachelor of science degree with a major in nursing. In 1974 the SON developed an RN Option (the RN Baccalaureate Completion Program) for registered nurses interested in professional advancement by attaining a baccalaureate degree. This program uses a distance education format for course delivery. The Basic Nursing Program is approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing and both programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). |
