| Program Description | The major provides students with a broad background in psychology suitable either as preparation for graduate study for those students wishing to enter the profession of psychology or as preparation for careers in which the application of psychology is important for those students who do not plan to become professional psychologists. |
| Admission Requirements | Admission to Major is granted by the department. University admission requirements are a minimum of 32 earned semester credit hours. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (C) is required, including PSYC 201 Statistics with a grade of C or better. |
