Dear Prospective Applicant,
Thank you for your interest in our Psy.D. program in School Psychology. Please download and complete an application and 3 recommendation forms here. The application process involves the following steps that may be completed simultaneously:
- You will need to complete an Application to the College of Graduate Studies and Research. You may apply online at http://grad.mnsu.edu/applying/ or mail your completed application to the College of Graduate Studies and Research, Minnesota State University, Mankato, 115 Alumni Foundation Center, Mankato, MN 56001. In addition to the completed application, you will need to send official copies of your Graduate Record Examination scores and academic transcripts as soon as possible. Upon receipt of your materials, the College of Graduate Studies and Research may admit you to take graduate level courses at the University. However, this is not an admission to the School Psychology Program (see #2 below).
- In order to be considered for admission to the School Psychology Program, you must submit the completed Application to the School Psychology Program to the Department of Psychology. Please include: your curriculum vita, personal statement, photocopies of GRE scores and transcripts, and a writing sample with your application. The application packet should be received by January 15 to facilitate timely decisions. Late applications may be considered. Your Departmental application file is initiated when this packet is received. Please mail to the following address:

- Have three references, at least two of whom should be university professors who are familiar with your academic ability and professional potential, complete the enclosed recommendation forms. The letters may be sent directly to the Department of Psychology or may be enclosed with your application packet.
- Contact the Financial Aid office if you are interested in graduate assistantships, student loans, or other financial assistance. The Financial Aid office may be reached at 507.389.1185 or www.mnsu.edu/campushub/
Only completed application packets (Items #2 and #3 above) to the School Psychology Program will be reviewed.
