Current Student Activities

  • Several students have been teaching undergraduate courses with great success.

  • All doctoral students are in various stages of working on research projects. Several students have published their research in major journals. Others are developing new projects or working on data collection.

  • Students have been attending conferences – including international conferences in Malta and Ireland.

  • Several students are supporting the MN Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports Initiative as data collectors and trainers.

  • One student is currently working on an international practicum in Curacao.

  • Elected class representatives have been attending program meetings and representing the interests of their fellow students.

 

Second Year StudentsSecond Year Students

  • 2nd year students are spending 10 hours per week in local school districts working with school psychologists. This is in addition to their coursework and research – so they are very busy.

  • The 2nd year students developed the School Psychology Society, an officially recognized student organization on campus.

 

First Year StudentsFirst Year Students

  • 1st year students are spending time with local special education teachers to get acquainted with their context of practice.
