Dr. Panahon joined the school psychology program in 2009. He was an assistant professor of special education at Gwynedd-Mercy College for 5 years after receiving his Ph.D. in school psychology from Syracuse University. Dr. Panahon currently teaches Consultation and Prevention and Multicultural School Psychology. He has published research in several major journals including Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis and Education and Treatment of Children. Dr. Panahon’s research team focuses on school consultation, developing academic and behavioral interventions for children with emotional/behavioral disorders, and the effects of noncontingent reinforcement on academic performance.
