Currently, access codes are only used in Fall and Spring terms, not Summer. They apply to students with particular majors--not all departments utilize access codes.You can see the list of departments/majors the require registration access codes by clicking HERE.
If your major requires an access code, you need to make an appointment with your advisor prior to registration. Your advisor will help you in planning your schedule and then give you the registration access code you will need to enter in order to register for classes.
You enter your access code at the beginning of the registration process--go to http://www.mnsu.edu/eservices and login in with your tech ID and PIN. After you have logged in, select the Courses and Registration option on the left side of the screen. Underneath this option will be one for Registration Access Code. Take that option, enter the access code given to you by your advisor and click submit.
Your access code only needs to be entered once for a term .
