Admission

All people wishing to enroll at Minnesota State University, Mankato and become students must be admitted to the University.

New undergraduate students become admitted via the Undergraduate Admissions Office.

Often the admissions process includes attending orientation sessions. These are handled by the Office of First Year Experience.

New graduate students become admitted via the College of Graduate Studies.

Senior Citizens

Minnesota senior citizens age 62 or over may enroll for any course free of charge on an audit basis--no credit being earned.

If credit is desired, an administrative fee of $20 per credit will be charged.

In neither case will activity fees be charged. However, any laboratory or course fees will be required, regardless of whether credit is earned or not.
