Some holds affect whether transcripts can be sent out for you, whether you can graduate, or if you can register for classes. When you have a hold that prevents registration, the registration system will indicate the office responsible for placing the hold.
No matter what the hold is, the solution is always the same--you must contact the office that placed the hold to resolve the problem.
