ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- URC abstracts should be no longer than 250 words excluding the title and author information.
- It should be typed in Times New Roman with a font size of 12.
- The titles should be in all caps and bolded.
- The presenter(s) name should be directly under the title with the department afterwards in parentheses.
- The mentor name should be directly underneath the presenters name(s) followed by “Faculty Mentor” and their department all in italics.
- Abstracts should be written in past tense.
- Your faculty mentor MUST approve your abstract.
- Every presentation must have an approved abstract.
- Submit your application to present to the URC Graduate Assistant in Research and Sponsored Programs (Wigley 325) by March 5th, 2007.
- Late abstracts will be accepted until April 3, 2006; however your abstract will not be included in the conference abstract book all late abstract presentations will be grouped together.
- Late abstract submissions will only be included in the poster session.
The following is an example of a proper heading:
