Previous Positions:  Complex Director  (Mankato); Hall Director (Iowa State University); Assistant First-Year Advisor (Miami University)
What I like about being a Maverick:  The opportunities to be intentional when creating systems (from an idea through implementation) to better meet the changing developmental needs of our students and the evolving needs of our staff team.  Also, I value the opportunities to have a "seat at the table" in campus decision making.
Professional Development/Involvement/Interests:  I am currently involved in UMR-ACUHO and serve as the Association Treasurer.  I have an interest in gaining further knowledge about "First Generation" students and utilizing the framework "This I Believe" in our work. I look forward to my conversations with parents each summer during orientation.
Hobbies:  Running, playing with my kids and dogs, cheering on Wisconsin sport teams!

What I like about being a Maverick:  I like that I work in a supportive environment both professionally and personally.  Student success is the goal and the department is constantly progressing and looking for new ways to serve our ever-changing students. 
Professional Development/Involvement/Interests:  Member of NASPA and Association of Experiential Education.  My interests include leadership development, experiential education, and the second-year experience.
Hobbies: Running, Frisbee golf, reading, playing with my dogs, and watching movies with my family.

What I like about being a Maverick:  I enjoy the students, staff, and colleagues that I work with.  In my daily work I find laughter, support, challenge, and growth.
Professional Development/Involvement/Interests:  Most of my involvement is on campus.  I serve on both the Fall and Winter Welcome Week committees and have been a first-year seminar instructor and on the Sexual Assault Awareness Month planning committee.  At various times, I have been involved with UMR, ACPA, and the Association for Student Conduct Administration.
Hobbies:  I enjoy hiking, camping, and working with animal rescue organizations.

Professional Development/Involvement/Interests:  I currently serve as a member of the UMR-ACUHO Programming Committee and I am a member of ACUHO-I. I am interested in second-year student success, leadership development, and first-generation students.
Hobbies: Running, playing guitar, and drawing.

What I like about being a Maverick:  I enjoy the teamwork and camaraderie that exists not only within our department, but throughout the University as well.  I feel that I have the ability to make a difference and leave my imprint on students, projects, and initiatives all for the betterment of our Maverick community.
Professional Development/Involvement/Interests:  I've attended the Women's Leadership Institute in Laguna Niguel, California, the ACUHO-I Annual Conference in the Twin Cities, in addition to Gallup's Strengths Educator for Higher Education, also in the Twin Cities. My professional interests lie in the use of technology within higher education, organizational leadership, marketing and design, and working with students from traditionally underrepresented populations.
Hobbies:  Spending time with my husband and two boys, baking, organizing, Zumba and group exercise classes, making Pinterest projects, and listening to music.

What I like about being a Maverick:  I feel connected to MSU and the City of Mankato because of the talented and hard-working colleagues I have met in my time as a Maverick.  Colleagues I have interacted with in Residential Life and beyond in the great MSU community are committed to performance.  I have made many friends and connected with many in the city of Mankato because most are friendly, compassionate, accepting, and fun.  I couldn't ask for a better community to make a home!
Professional Development/Involvement/Interests:  I have attended a StrengthsQuest Conference in the Twin Cities and various ACUHO-I Conferences during my time here.  I have also taken advantage of professional development opportunities right here on campus, including the annual "Professional Development Day" for faculty and staff held each January.
Hobbies:  As a new homeowner, I can often be found cutting the lawn, gardening, fixing things around the house, and shovelling snow!  My hairless dog Harriet, a Chinese Crested, and I spend a lot of time walking around my neighborhood.  I enjoy attending festivals and activities both in Mankato and in the Twin Cities throughout the summer.  Movies, Packer football games, reading, camping, downhill skiing, and travelling to visit my family in Northern Wisconsin are all activities I look forward to throughout the year.

What I like about being a Maverick: I enjoy our continual and intentional focus on our students.  I have found that everyone is incredibly welcoming and willing to help.
Professional Development/Involvement/Interests:  I enjoy being involved in professional organizations (NASPA, ASCA, UMR-ACUHO, NACADA) and have strong interests in social justice/diversity work, student metal health, sexual violence issues, academic advising, and student conduct.
Hobbies: Working with animal rescue organizations, crafting, reading, and traveling.
